Throughout the beaches about 100-120’ of beach berm was lost. The Army Corp and the DEP will make a decision in the next few weeks about whether they will fill beach before leaving the area, according to Dietrich. Playground Initiative Nets Results! New vinyl fence for the bay side is on order. Certified playground mulch will go down,  swings were repaired, and the sink hole filled. A new handicapped swing is on order and will be installed on arrival. Karen thanks the Township for making the playground a "recent priority," but reminds all this "doesn't negate the need for a complete playground makeover."
